There is a lot of tat out there on the shelves for this Halloween. Parties are getting bigger and better, we have more and more americanized with our love of the holiday! i thought that I would share with you some of the best products out there this year, to avoid disappointment!
Zombie Gnome
The Zombie Gnome is one of my absolute favourites this year, a must have for on the lawn or table at a halloween themed party. it is as hilarious as it is genius, and at £11.95 from Genie Gadget it will not break the bank either. At 30 cm tall and very sturdy I think I will keep mine out all year!
Verdict: 10 / 10
DIY Halloween
I love the mouldable glue range from Sugru – perfect for any Halloween projects. It’s bendy, rubbery texture makes it a versatile material and once it cures for 24 hours it is really strong too.
Verdict: 8 / 10
Zippo
Get those pumpkins lit with these funky lighters from Zippo. I love the Halloween designs, and with such an ageless brand you know that these lighters will last a long time. Prices start from £20 and they are available at www.zippo.co.uk
Verdict: 9 / 10
Trick or treat!
When it comes to chocolate at Halloween you cannot beat Cadbury’s. Value for money, great taste, and I love the new halloween range!
Cadbury Screme Egg – 40g RRP two £0.65 for one, £1.00 for two
Cadbury Crunchy Spider- 30g RRP £0.55 for one, £1.00 for two
Verdict: 8 / 10
Halloween Make up
If you are on a budget, don’t buy separate pots of face paint this Halloween look for an all in one kit. Asda have a great range this year, I love the skelaton kit for £3. I actually used this and some old green eyeshadow that I had lying around to make my wicked witch face this year!
Verdict: 8 / 10
I also love thier kiddie range, this trick or treat goody bag is very cute for £1.50!
Bake your own treats
Shop bought is easy, but nothing beats home-made treats. Use these cute/spooky (delete as appropriate) but certainly delicious cake decorations from Cake Angels and really impress your guests.
Verdict: A delicious 8 / 10
