Weekend Diary: Kennington Village Fête, Sunday 15th May

11 May

If you live anywhere near Kennington/Elephant and Castle or Oval – you may know of a beautiful little gem called Cleaver Square. It’s a place where people mill around playing boules and sipping cider in the summer, and is surrounded by the most gorgeous (expensive!) houses. Many a night I have strolled trough just coveting the big kitchen islands and spacious 3-4 stories. A girl can dream!

Every year a village fête is hosted in the square with food and drinks from local vendors such as the Kennington Tandoori and The Lobster Pot, stalls, activities and general family fun.

The fête will run from 12-4pm and will be opened by MP Kate Hoey (don’t let that put you off!)

It’s very close to Kennington tube station, and directions are below!

Enjoy!
